User Data Deletion Instructions
Aether Cover explicitly provides this page to comply with Facebook Platform rules as well as global privacy laws like GDPR and CCPA. If you wish to remove your activities and data associated with our apps and Facebook integrations, follow the instructions below.
How to Request Data Deletion via Email
You can request the permanent deletion of your account and associated data directly through our support team.
- Send an email to privacy@aethercover.com from the email address associated with your account.
- Use the subject line "Data Deletion Request".
- Identify your account and provide any relevant information (e.g., your name, username, or Facebook profile link if using our Facebook App).
- Our moderation team will process your request and confirm the deletion of your data within 7-14 business days.
How to Remove Facebook App Data
If you have connected your Facebook account to Aether Cover and wish to remove that connection and associated data natively via Facebook, please follow these steps:
- Go to your Facebook Account's Settings & Privacy menu. Click Settings.
- Scroll down and click Apps and Websites.
- Find and click on Aether Cover in the list of your connected apps.
- Click the Remove button.
- Check the boxes according to your preference regarding past posts and click Remove again to confirm.
Note: Removing the app via Facebook stops future data tracking, but if you want us to purge previously collected records from our database, you must also send a deletion request using the email method above.
What Data Gets Deleted?
Upon a verified deletion request, we will permanently eliminate your:
- Identity details, profile data, and contact information.
- History of API calls, platform activity, and linked tokens.
- Any Facebook identification tokens we hold in our database.
Please note that certain financial or transactional data might be retained for legal and tax compliance in accordance with local laws.
